OUR VISION

This sounds terribly worthy, but let’s keep it in perspective, we’re not trying to save the planet or anything, but we’re suckers for a good ad, digital strategy, website or logo! Ask any Bluesouper (past or present) and they’ll tell you our ambition is to create an agency famous for staying true to its founding principles, for doing things differently; an agency that inspires clients, partners and employees alike by delivering great work, achieving outstanding results and celebrating success with all those involved in creating it. Sounds cool heh?

FOUNDING PRINCIPLES

Many an hour was spent discussing what was important to us at the local all you can eat Chinese buffet and in the end it came down to this… "Success is sweeter, easier to create and more likely to endure when you know that it hasn’t been achieved at someone else’s expense and you have not compromised yourself or your beliefs”. Basically we’ll sleep a whole lot better if we’ve earned our money without ripping anyone off and have given the best advice we can along the way… whether you want to hear it or not.

OUR APPROACH

In all honesty, we’re pretty much like every other agency out there. We do the same stuff; planning & buying media, spending hours and hours analysing digital trends and campaigns, designing things, building websites, researching consumers, building brands, doing social etc. You name it, if it’s about you connecting with your customer we’ll be doing it – although without blowing our own trumpet, we think we’re better than most. So apart from our sheer brilliance, why would you want to work with us? We think there are 5 pretty simple principles that keep us focussed.

DO IT RIGHT

Right because we draw on our vast experience and expertise to find the most appropriate solution, and right because we share the same goals as our clients so don’t look for the most profitable solution for Bluesoup. So, everything being equal, everyone’s a winner.

BE ORIGINAL

There's a lot of noise out there and you have to rise above it. We don't like our work to be wallpaper and neither will you – so let's think about ways to shine.

BE IMPACTFUL

You can be as original as you like, but unless your communication is seen in the right place at the right time it will be wasted. Impact doesn't have to be all crash, bang and wallop though. The smallest thought, expressed with care, can change the world. Man.

BE ACCOUNTABLE

What's the point in working hard to create something great if you can't tell how successful it is? We're a bit OCD about this. When things work it confirms you made the right agency choice and gives us a warm feeling inside. But when it doesn't, it means we can talk about it and change what needs to be changed. With a little more effort, it won't be long before that warm feeling returns.

BE RESPONSIBLE

We're no saints but we do believe in being responsible. That means sourcing from ethical and sustainable resources wherever possible, recycling as much as we can, reducing our carbon footprint by cycling to work when time, weather and energy allow, supporting the community in which we live and giving our time, money and resources to selected charities close to our hearts...like the amazing Edukid.
