Rebranding Cavanna Homes – 100 years of “Building Brilliance”


The challenge

At Bluesoup, our design team took on the challenge of rejuvenating Cavanna Homes, aiming to give it a unique edge in the competitive property market. Our objective was clear: to effectively position the brand as the top-tier, thoughtful and reputable provider of homes in the South West. Our priority? To inject modernity into Cavanna Home's old logo and branding. For this challenge, we also had to ensure consistency in design across all developments to build strong recognition and trust among buyers throughout the West Country – and beyond!

The solution

Bluesoup undertook a comprehensive redesign of Cavanna Homes' brand, focusing on core brand elements, such as modernising its old logo. Our solution was to create consistency across all touchpoints, including its signage, website, developments and brochures.

Drawing inspiration from the brand's rich history and coastal heritage, Bluesoup updated and incorporated the existing seahorse mascot "Trigger" and created modern design elements with vibrant colours to solidify the brand across all media forms. This creative approach established a more personalised and cohesive brand image that is both recognisable and effective for large-scale marketing usage.

Whilst design took time, changes were scheduled practically overnight, making this one of our biggest and fastest design projects to date when it came to rebranding!
