The challenge

Fontana is an Italian design studio offering interior architectural design services for kitchens, home bars, dressing rooms and more.

A key point of difference is the extraordinary heritage of craftsmanship and materials from Italy that they bring to every project. Living spaces that are truly one-of-a-kind are a difficult concept to convey in marketing, but Fontana wanted to find the right expression of their clear and distinctive aesthetic.

The solution

A new brand identity concept was borne out of an in-depth discovery process that we led, which involved taking their existing monogram from a rigid block to an elegant, soft and flowing device.

This exclusive, sculpted marque was designed by us to embody the essence of their ‘design as art’ personality, immediately elevating the new website (as well as all other applications) into a rich gallery that excites the senses.

The results

In tandem with a transformation of their Kings Road studio, the identity was rolled out across pre-event social teasers, and was emblazoned across the showroom launch, adorning lavish gifts for the guests created by a top Italian fragrance house.

Such brand impact is not always tangible or measurable. Here, careful orchestration of all touchpoints ensured that the Fontana brand essence was palpable. The party for clients and strategic partners delivered the complete expression that the founders intended.
