The challenge.

Just You, a leading solo travel company, wanted to build emotional connection with its core audience – women aged 55+ – and strengthen its multimedia presence beyond business-as-usual marketing.

The brand needed a campaign that would spark recognition, inspire confidence, and clearly reflect the values of solo guided travel.

The solution.

Bluesoup developed a distinctive TV ad centred on the theme of “connection” - a core value for solo guided travel. Using subtle parallax movement on top of still imagery, we brought real moments to life.

The creative focused on those magical moments that make a holiday truly memorable - the experiences that stay with you long after you return home.

Each visual focused on a “real” individual enjoying authentic travel moments within a small group, highlighting the warmth and camaraderie of shared experiences.

Working with a very tight deadline and limited budget, the parallax approach became the perfect creative solution – allowing us to deliver a visually engaging campaign without the need for global video shoots.

To ensure the right people saw the campaign, we deployed a targeted media strategy across carefully selected broadcast and digital channels – reaching a well-defined audience in key regions, in a way that felt both visible and valuable.

The results.

To track performance, we ran a brand study both pre- and post-campaign. The results were benchmarked against the wider travel sector to understand the true brand lift.

The results confirmed that the campaign hit home:

  • 76% of respondents reported a positive impression of the ad
  • Strong uplift in key brand association metrics, particularly around safety and trust
  • Significant increase in Net Promoter Score (NPS) among those exposed to the campaign

The combination of emotive storytelling and data-driven targeting delivered strong brand impact in a strategically important audience segment.
